Boldo is an earth-to-table restaurant opening this summer in downtown Santa Ana.
We will be serving up freshly harvested & carefully prepared delecta-Bols that showcase whole foods sourced within a 250-mile radius of our site.
Our philosophy is rooted in the Slow Food Movement and inspired by the great wisdom of Hippocrates: “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
We have tailored our culinary approach to reflect the following holistic principles:

Boldo will actively foster relationships with local nonprofits, school gardens, nutritionists, conservation groups, neighboring businesses, and other “like-minded folks” to improve human and environmental health within our community.
Currently, we are building partnerships with several bold family farmers, organic growers, ranchers, foragers, fishermen, and other food-cultivating entities in the greater Orange County region to create a Restaurant-Supported Agriculture (RSA) Program.
We are also in the process of developing our OC Yard Farming Initiative, which will allow resident gardeners to sell or barter their produce at our restaurant as well as donate any excess to organizations like OC Food Access Coalition.
